Working towards a healthy weight and being healthy in my opinion is about both eating right and exercise
Over the years I have tried to do one or the other to lose weight and the only time I have managed to lose weight is when I have done both at the same time.
Here is some exercise and foodie fun.
Tiffany Rothe has a youtube channel that I absolutely love called TiffanyRotheWorkouts She is amazingly fun and works your butt off. Yoga- I love yoga. I have not found a yogi youtube person that I love as much as Tiffany Rothe. I usually do a search for simple beginner yoga and do whatever I am in the mood for. I also have the go-to poses that I do when I just want to get in a 5 minute stretch between my classes. Yoga has been around for thousands of years and I figure something that has been around that long is not considered a fad and is worth a try. Food is one of my favorite topics because I love to eat. Probably the reason my weight was 256 pounds at one time. NO, we will blame that on my daughters’ dad, crutches and the Milano cookies he kept bringing me. Awesomeness in a bag, that is my story and I am sticking to it;-)
To me food is not just fun to eat but I think it is very interesting to figure out what types of foods are better for you to eat. Take the Avocado, it has 234 calories in a cup. This smooth, green, delicious fruit is full of Potassium, Fiber, all kinds of vitamins and minerals and it has heart-healthy fats. Just looking at the calorie count I would have stayed away from this amazing fruit. Knowing how very healthy it is has me adding it to sandwiches instead of mayo and chopping it in chunks for a salad. Can we say YUMMM.
